About Elegant Chaos
Elegant Chaos was founded in 1997 by Sam Deane. Our aim is to produce elegant software for the Mac, iPhone and iPad.

What We Do
We specialise in MacOS X and iOS (iPhone/iPod/iPad) software, but have also worked on plenty of other platforms, including extensive porting work to/from Windows, and have also had some exposure to Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP.
Over the years, we've contracted for the likes of Sports Interactive (Sega), Feral Interactive, Channel 4, Peter Gabriel (Real World Multimedia), and Abbey Road Studios.
We also develop and sell our own software, and Sam has worked as a full time employee for a number of companies including Sports Interactive (Sega) and Sony (London Studio). For a complete list of the software, see Sam's softography, and/or CV.

We are also part of an informal network of developers, designers, artists and musicians who have collaborated together over the years. Between us we have experts in software design, web design, usability, graphics, animation, music and digital video, so if you are looking for any combination of the above, please get in touch.
We are now based in Stornoway, in the Outer Hebrides, but worked in London for many years and still have lots of contacts there, as well as all over the UK, California and Australia. We're happy to consider work anywhere in the world, either in person or virtually via the internet.
